Manage your energy usage to reduce your carbon footprint and save money. SmartThings Energy* provides energy efficiency tips. It also monitors the energy consumption of appliances** in real-time and compares it to the previous month. And it alerts you if your monthly targets might be exceeded.

A Wi-Fi connection and a Samsung account are required. ** SmartThings Energy currently works with around 40 Samsung home appliances that are SmartThings enabled. Take care of your washer or dryer much more easily. SmartThings Home Care* notifies you when parts need replacing and helps troubleshoot problems. It also shows you how to update the software of services and devices. And it provides useful tips on using your appliance, as well as a user manual.

Control your washing more easily and intuitively. The Digital Control Panel includes a variety of options, so you can easily find the right setting. It also has a digital display that clearly shows the washing time. And the jog wheel makes it simpler and more intuitive to select a wash cycle.

Self Clean
Keep the inside of the washer hygienically clean and fresh without detergent. Self Clean removes dirt and odor-causing bacteria in the drum. It uses a combinations of soaking, pulsating and a high spin speed to keep everything outstandingly clean. It even notifies you when it needs cleaning.

Soft Close Lid
Avoid being frightened by unexpected bangs! The top load washer’s Soft Close Lid closes safely, gently and silently. A damper automatically reduces the speed of movement, so the lid slowly and quietly closes. It gives you peace of mind, as there are no loud noises and less risk of accidents.

The Samsung RF27CG5400SRAA has exceeded our expectations. The space is well-organized, and the FlexZone drawer is perfect for our needs. The ice maker produces plenty of ice, and the water dispenser works great.
